Becky Webster on Deploying Chatter

By

Becky WebsterThis episode, we are talking with Becky Webster who is a Chatter expert and Manager at Acumen Solutions and a Salesforce MVP. She works with people and organizations to discover and enable new means of communication and information sharing. She has over six years of communication & customer relationship management experience and is a certified Salesforce Admin, Developer, Sales & Service Cloud Consultant.

We talk about why companies should start using chatter, the value of using chatter and how to get your users, CEO down, to embrace Chatter. Becky gives us two big nuggets of information. First, she emphasizes groups over individuals- join groups, don’t worry about following individuals. Second, email notifications are different than emails. You can read more about this in Becky’s blog post here: https://beckymaew.com/2012/11/16/too-many-mentions-youre-doing-it-wrong/

Besides those great tips, Becky talks about the strategy behind a Chatter implementation to drive success. This is a fantastic episode to finish the year and help plan for next year.

Oh and we would love to hear what your favorite Danny Trejo movie is, so add that one in the comments.

Lastly, we need to say hello to Alpesh Shah- our 1 Rhode Island listener. We were able to speak with him at Dreamforce while walking from session to session. Thank you for listening Alpesh!
